Kingdom Building Study Bible ("the app," "we," "us") is a Bible study application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name and email address, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Content you create. Notes, highlights, favorites, saved topic searches, and reading-plan progress you save are stored and linked to your account so they sync across your devices.
Search activity. We log the searches you run (both text and topic searches) while signed in, so the app can personalize features like the post-sign-in greeting. This is not used for advertising.
AI interactions. When you use a feature powered by AI — verse breakdowns, topic search, or the Ask chat — the relevant verse text or your question is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. We do not send your name, email, or account details as part of these requests.
Technical information. Standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) is processed automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel) as part of delivering the app, consistent with normal web hosting operation.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the data it processes on our behalf.
Your data is stored on our database provider's secure infrastructure. We use industry-standard practices, including password hashing and encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You can review, edit, or delete individual notes, highlights, and favorites at any time within the app. To request deletion of your entire account and associated data, contact us using the information below — we will process your request promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
